Elias Deis is a community leader and the Executive Director of Holy Land Trust in Bethlehem, Palestine. With a focus on nonviolent activism, youth and women’s empowerment, and cultural preservation, he has dedicated his life to fostering resilience in vulnerable communities. A former member of the Beit Sahour City Council, Elias also spearheaded the successful UNESCO nomination of Beit Sahour as a World Craft City for Olive Wood Carving, advancing international recognition of Palestinian heritage.
