Adam Weinstein is the Deputy Director of the Middle East Program at the Quincy Institute, where his research focuses on security and rule of law in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq. He is also a non-resident fellow at Tadblab in Islamabad and contributes regularly to leading publications including The Washington Post, The Guardian, Foreign Policy, and Lawfare. Before joining the Quincy Institute, he worked at KPMG’s international trade practice, advising multinational clients on sanctions risk, human rights due diligence, and trade policy. He also served as senior law and policy analyst at the National Iranian American Council. Adam holds a J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and is a former U.S. Marine, having deployed to Afghanistan in 2012.
