Ahmad Rafay Alam is a leading Pakistani environmental lawyer and activist. After more than a decade practicing corporate and constitutional law, he turned his focus to climate justice and environmental governance. In 2019, he and his family helped organize #ClimateStrike marches in over 45 cities across Pakistan, amplifying youth voices in the global movement for climate action. Since 2006, he has lectured on property and environmental law at LUMS, mentoring future leaders in the field. A Yale World Fellow, Rafay brings international perspective and local commitment to addressing Pakistan’s pressing environmental challenges.
