Feisal Naqvi

Litigator, Arbitrator, Legal Reformer

Feisal Naqvi is one of Pakistan’s leading litigators, ranked by Chambers & Partners since 2008. A graduate of Yale Law School, he practiced in New York before returning to Pakistan, where he has handled major commercial and constitutional disputes. With a distinguished record in arbitration and international disputes, he has represented Pakistan in Indus Waters Treaty cases with India and co-counseled for Tethyan Copper Company in its landmark $5.8 billion claim against the Government of Pakistan. Currently, he serves as Pakistan’s representative to UNCITRAL Working Group III on Investor-State Dispute Settlement reform and was recently appointed to the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR. He also played a central role in drafting Pakistan’s new arbitration law, cementing his influence as both a practitioner and reformer of international dispute resolution.
