Fizzah Sajjad

Urban Researcher, Planner, PhD Scholar

Fizzah Sajjad is a PhD candidate in Human Geography and Urban Studies whose research explores speculative practices in Lahore’s real estate market and their impact on housing, investment, and urban inequality. With nine years of research and project management experience, her work spans land, housing, transport, and the politics of infrastructure in rapidly urbanizing cities of the Global South. She has contributed to major projects funded by the British Academy and UKRI GCRF, focusing on dislocation, kinship, and access to urban services. Holding a Master’s in City Planning from MIT and a Bachelor’s from LUMS, Fizzah brings a critical lens to questions of equity, displacement, and inclusive urban futures.
