Mehran Kamrava is Professor of Government at Georgetown University Qatar and Director of the Iranian Studies Unit at the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies. A leading authority on Iran, the Persian Gulf, and Middle Eastern politics, he is the author of numerous articles and books, including The Impossibility of Palestine.
